Rebecca Minniti is a Visual Artist living in Prattsville, New York. Her work takes shape in many forms, from oil painting, gouache, pen, to pastry, and graphic design.

Rebecca began her visual arts career as a pastry chef making custom cakes, cookies and cupcakes. She received her AS in Baking and Pastry from Stratford University in Falls Church, VA. Minniti’s work focuses on the mind and body of the playful inner child. Her inspiration comes from, her inner thoughts, life experiences, emotions, and fond memories of frolicking on the beach and in the woods during her childhood. She creates spaces where people can interact and feel intimate with the work, utilizing mobiles and suspension from free standing forms created to enhance and accentuate the whimsical spirit of her work.

Her work was recently exhibited in the Fine Arts Building at SUNY New Paltz, in a show titled The Crossover Episode, her 2023 Senior Exhibition. Other venues include, Sojourner Truth Library, New Paltz, NY; Robert F. Kennedy Hall, Old Westbury, NY; Amelie A. Wallace Gallery, Old Westbury, NY.
